On almost all old BMW boxer engines, one of the most common sources of error is a defective ignition coil. The original ignition coils are usually either cracked or otherwise defective after more than 30 years. The results are then misfiring, lack of power and uneven engine running.

The delivery includes a complete mounting kit with stainless steel screws, two rubber grommets and two plugs for the ignition cables. Our ignition cables can be used.
The ignition coil is plug & play compatible with all Monolever and Paralever models. Typically, Twin Shock models use two 6V ignition coils to control the ignition. Our ignition coil also fits for Twin Shock models, as it operates with 12V.
