Our brake discs are an ideal replacement for worn brake discs or as an upgrade to the original discs. Fits all BMW Twin Shock R65/R80 and R100.
The stock brake discs are typically made of steel and rigidly mounted. After many years, the brake discs are often either rusted or worn below the prescribed wear limit.
With our SCHIZZO® Magura brake discs, the discs are made of stainless steel and a heat-treated chrome steel alloy. Additionally, the brake discs are drilled to achieve better brake cooling, and the brake ring is floatingly mounted. Brake performance is vastly improved compared to stock brake discs.
We offer these kits for both single and double brake discs.
The brake disc has European approval according to the latest E1 standard, with a KBA number.
Please note: Mounting hardware is partially included in the delivery! Original screws must be used.
Which brake disc, drilled or grooved?
Water drainage in wet conditions: The holes assist in faster evaporation of water and reduce water accumulation on the discs, improving braking performance.
Faster cooling: During braking, the entire brake system heats up significantly. Drilled discs allow for faster cooling, especially after heavy braking, which can make a noticeable difference.
Both types of brake discs are suitable for road use, but each offers a different visual appearance.
