Unlike our SCHIZZO® Battery Box (Item No. 67170 or 67172).
The WalzWerk battery box is mounted at an optimal center of gravity and is almost invisible beneath the gearbox, using existing mounting points. No drilling, grinding, or welding is necessary—it's a true "plug & play" installation.
A must-have for all BMW Boxer conversions where the battery needs to be relocated. It is an essential standard component on all our BMW "SCHIZZO®" Concept Bikes.
Our battery boxes are designed to accommodate ultra-light and maintenance-free lithium-ion batteries.
Battery box dimensions: 117mm length x 190mm width x 71mm height.
The delivery includes all screws and bushings necessary for assembly.
As with all original WalzWerk products, our battery boxes are of unparalleled high quality. For example, the housing is seamlessly welded all around (not just spot-welded or partially welded like other battery boxes on the market), and the edges are precisely smoothed. In this sense, each of our battery boxes is a small work of art.
Delivery includes a perfectly fitting and ultra-light lithium-ion battery (only 680g) with a cold start current of 490A. The battery capacity is sufficient for BMW Boxer engines up to 1,200cc. Proven hundreds of times in our SCHIZZO® Concept Bikes.
