Digital ignition ZDG3 fits all BMW R80/R100. An upgrade for the contact and centrifugal governors or the early electronic ignition.
The advantages of a digital ignition:

- Wear-free (no more capacitors or contact breakers required)
- Longer service life
- Precise ignition curve, microprocessor-controlled
- Better driving behavior
The Hall sensor is installed in the contact distributor or Hall sensor distributor. The centrifugal force adjustment is completely eliminated. We have developed a special mounting plate for installing the sensor, which fits the existing screw connections in the engine perfectly.
The original ignition coils of the Hall sensor BMWs are too low-resistance and must be replaced, for this we recommend our ignition coil below.
Please note: For optimal performance, we recommend using only our high-performance ignition coil with the digital ignition system (see below).
Note: Not suitable for earlier models with contact breakers (please inquire separately).
