To achieve a clean fork look like on our X-Plorer® models, the recesses for the reflectors are removed.
Unlike our SCHIZZO® models, this is not done by machining the surface. Instead, the areas are carefully hand-sanded and filled to create a smooth and even finish. The mounts remain in place, as on our X-Plorer® models.
Our service includes the precise manual removal of the reflector recesses on fork tubes for BMW R80/R100GS models. On request, the tubes can also be powder coated in a matte black textured finish in our in-house coating facility (available as an optional extra).
Process: You send us your two original fork tubes, clean and free of oil. We carry out the modification and, if selected, the powder coating afterwards.
