Cylinder head overhaul for BMW models in black

PROFESSIONAL CYLINDER HEAD OVERHAUL INCL. LEAD-FREE CONSTRUCTION AND BLACK THERMAL COATING

From a mileage of 50.000km we recommend the overhaul of the cylinder heads on all BMW R45, R65, R80 and R100 models.

For this purpose, the cylinder heads are completely disassembled by us upon delivery, carefully cleaned and checked. The disassembled heads are then wet-blasted with fine glass beads. The old valve guides are pressed out, the core holes are re-drilled and new oversize valve guides are pressed back in.

The old valve seat rings are carefully removed, the core bores are re-milled and new reinforced lead-free valve seat rings are installed. The seat rings are then completely re-milled and ground to fit the new valves exactly. Afterwards, the leak tightness of each valve is checked with a vacuum tester.

The cylinder head seating surface is then precisely surface ground. Depending on the condition of the cylinder heads, it may be necessary to machine the sealing surface for the valve covers. For an additional charge of €39,00 per cylinder head, we will also surface grind this sealing surface to achieve absolute tightness to the valve covers. Finally, the cylinder heads are completed with new valves, new valve springs and new valve wedges ready for installation.
